Accused number five in Vanpic case, Dharmana Prasada Rao,  has said that he was innocent in land allotment affair to Vanpic. He has said that he would talk to the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy the moment he arrives in Hyderabad. It has to be mentioned here that Dharmana Prasada Rao has left for Hyderabad from Delhi after he met some prominent leaders.

Dharmana Prasada Rao reportedly told the media that he was ready to prove his innocence. He has also said that the government aim was to give subsidy to the companies and CBI was allegedly finding fault with those decisions. Dharmana Prasada Rao, who apparently told he would talk on the issue only after going through charge sheet, has said that he so far didn't get a copy of charge sheet.
