The All India Congress Committee (AICC) political observer to Andhra Pradesh, Vayalar Ravi, who arrived in Hyderabad to take part in a function conveyed by Palvai Govardhan Reddy, has told that he could not say anything on the change of the chief minister. Speaking on the gas issue, Vayalar Ravi said he didn't know about the alleged rift between between Kiran Kumar Reddy and Jaipal Reddy. He said even in case there were differences between them, what he could do was nothing.
Political observers said Vayalar Ravi, instead of ruling out that there would be no change in the leadership told that he can't say anything on the change in the CM, itself indicated that Congress high command was in a plan to change Kiran Kumar Reddy as the chief minister. In case that happens, who would be the next to adorn the chief minister's post is a million dollar question although many political observers stressed that Chiranjeevi is the right choice for the Congress party to make the chief minister. In case Chiru is made the CM, Congress would erase the remark that it so far didn't make any kapu leader the chief minister. Also, it would have all possibilities to retain power in 2014 if Chiru becomes CM, added observers. All in all, the chances are bright for Chiru to play key role in the state politics.
