Red alert at Shamshabad airport

The police in Andhra Pradesh have declared red alert at Shamshabad international airport in Hyderabad in the wake of intelligence reports on the possible terror attacks on international airports on August 15 (the independence day).  The airport authorities, on the other hand, have stopped giving visiting passes to the enthusiasts who wish to see the airport. Also, tight security has been beefed up in and around airport.

Besides calling for high alert, the special police teams at the airport were conducting thorough checks at Shamshabad airport. It may be noted that the international airport in Hyderabad is one of the beautiful airports in the country.
