Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar flared at the Committee that submitted the report for regaining power in 2014 general elections. The MP made these statements in the city today. He also remarked at the extensive and elaborate security arrangements made to Y S R Congress Leader YS Vijayamma, during her one-day protest in Sircila. Adding on the issue Mr Prabhakar said that after this massive arrangements, they were doubtful as to where the party was heading.
He also claimed that the security personnel made unwanted arrests of the Telangana leaders and created a chaos in the region. He said that he was irked by the callous comments of the Seemandhra leaders on Telangana.
The MP also slammed the Telugu Desam Chief for his pretense on backward castes upliftment. He said only Congress strives hard for uplifting the BCs and Minorities. He thanked the central government for increasing the BC quota in the petrol bunk allotments. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
