Congress Floor leader Jana Reddy has said that he is not in race for the Telangana PCC chief post. Jana Reddy flew in Delhi yesterday and has been meeting top leaders in Congress. At the same time, Jana has condemned the reports which are circulating in the media. “I did not come here to lobby for the PCC chief post but here for a regular work,” said Jana Reddy.
However, Jana sounded diplomatically when the media persons have asked regarding the change of guard. “Change of PCC is in the hands of High Command and its decision is final. I have no differences with Ponnala Laksmaiah or D Srinivas. They are just baseless rumors but if PCC chief Ponnala would have answered to all the issues within the Congress party, the situations would have been much better now,” added Jana.
We hear that Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao is doing hectic lobby for the PCC post and is preferring his close aide and former Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar name. Nevertheless, it is confirmed that the Congress high command is seriously considering the change of leadership in Telangana.
