Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar made severe remarks against his party. He has said that there was no importance to activists in Congress party. Only noted persons in the party get the attention, he added. Addressing the Congress party meeting today at LB Stadium of Hyderabad, Ponnam Prabhakar has expressed his anguish that no tributes were paid to Telangana martyrs in the meeting.

Ponnam Prabhakar has also said that public representatives from Congress party, who hail from Telangana region, were not happy. Talking about Sharmila's padayatra, Ponnam questioned as to why so much security had been beefed up for her padayatra. While Ponnam Prabhakar was addressing the speech and expressing his anguish, PCC chief tried intervening for pacifying Ponnam Prabhakar.
