CM rubs salt into wounds, says people have to bear elec charges

While people in Andhra Pradesh are crying foul on the increase of fuel price, the chief minister of the state, Kiran Kumar Reddy is rubbing salt into the wounds. CM told the media today that people in the state has to bear electricity surcharges as there was no other alternative. He has explained that electricity surcharges were being levied upon the public only on the recommendations given by ERC.

The chief minister has also asked the political fraternity not to drag late chief minister YS Rajashekara Reddy into controversies. It may be noted that YSRC took on the government for the increased fuel prices and reminded the promises of YSR who ensured that there would be no hike in electricity charges.
