NPP chief meets Jagan at jail

All the political leaders seem to  beeline at Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad in the wake of presidential election. Wonder what's the connection of jail with prez poll? Well, a party president is in jail and none wants to ignore even a single vote, which might prove costly to the respective presidential candidates. After Hyderabad MP Assadudin Owaisi, it's National Panthers Party (NPP) chief, who met YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy. NPP supremo Balwant Singh Manokotia has urged Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy to extend his support of PA Sangma. He reportedly urged Jagan to back the tribal leader.

Earlier, Jaganmohan Reddy wrote letter to the election commission seeking permission for voting the president. He asked EC to set up a polling centre in Hyderabad wherein he can exercise his right to vote as the MP. YSRC so far didn't announced whether or not it would support UPA's candidate, Pranab Mukherjee.
