If Rajiv was alive..: CM hails late PM

The chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has said that had the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was alive, India would have been advanced in all fields and overtaken China in terms of development. Hailing the late prime minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy credited the entry of software in India to Rajiv Gandhi. He has also said that Rajiv Gandhi was the one who realized the importance of human resources and allotted a new ministry-HRD.

Botsa Satyanarayana, the PCC chief, had all praises for Rajiv Gandhi. He said Rajiv Gandhi worked day and night to bring everyone on to one platform. He had struggled a lot for the advancement of science and technology.   Other ministers who hailed Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary on Monday include Damodara Rajanarasimha and Geeta Reddy.

Geeta Reddy has said that it was Rajiv Gandhi who gave 33 per cent reservations to women. She has also exuded confidence that Rahul Gandhi would become the prime minister in 2014.  (Phani)
