The congress leadership today lodged a complaint to the Chairman of the Legislative Council Mr Chakrapani against three MLCs and sought their disqualification from the House for working against party interests.

The congress leadership has sought disqualification of Pulla Padmavathi, Konda Murali and SV Mohana reddy for violating party discipline.

Chakrapani confirmed receipt of petitions from the Congress leadership against the three and said action would be initiated as per the rules of the Legislative Council.

Referring to their resignations, Chakrapani said the question of their resignation never arises as they have attended the Council session after submitting the quit letters. (JUBS)
