Amid a flurry of activity in Delhi, the congress high command today made a phone call to the TRS chief Mr KCR and discussed the Telangana issue with him.

Unconfirmed reports said that congress president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Mr Ahamad Patel requested Mr KCR to come to Delhi as part of the efforts to find a solution to the nagging Telangana issue.

A section of the media reported that KCR, maintaining utmost secrecy, camped at his 25-acre farm house at Jagadevpur in Medak district for the last three days and discussed the T issue with the congress bosses in Delhi over phone.

Reports suggested, he camped at the farmhouse along with his wife and no other TRS leader was present during his retreat which ended Friday evening. “KCR went to the farmhouse without the usual escorts and in a different car to avoid recognition by any one,” said the reports.  (JUBS)
