Digvijay hints Congress-TRS merge!

Andhra Pradesh Affairs incharge Digvijay Singh has hinted that Telangana Rashtra Samiti  [TRS] is likely to merge with Congress party in coming few days. Speaking to the media Digvijay said, “TRS chief KCR has discussed this merge talk and currently they are in initial stages. We need more sessions of discussion to come to a decision.”

Digvijay met Sonia Gandhi today morning and later spoke to the media. The Congress will point PCC chiefs and Election committee for both the regions shortly. Sonia and Rahul are also expected to visit Telangana and Seemandhra region for the election campaign. Regarding Seemandhra issues, Digvijay has urged all the leaders in Congress to work for the development of the region. He opined that the Special Status would benefit the region.

K Chandrasekhar Rao who will arrive to Hyderabad city is likely to hold a politburo meeting in couple of days to discuss the merger proposal with the party men. However TRS leader Vinod said couple of days back that majority of the TRS cadre are not in favor of the merger decision and instead an alliance for the upcoming elections would be acceptable. KCR who met Sonia Gandhi on Sunday has reportedly offered all the Lok Sabha seats to the Congress and in return TRS would take up the majority share in the Assembly segments. But the Congress president seems to be not convinced with KCR's offer and asked him to meet Digvijay Singh for more talks.

Well whatever it may be TRS politburo meeting is going to be very key for the party and a decision on merge is awaited.
