Bhanu is in West Godavari accord to DGP Dinesh Reddy

DGPBhanuThe sensational murder of Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, who died in Apollo hospital with bullet injury way back in January, still remains a mystery with the prime accused Bhanu at large. Police have listed him as the most wanted criminal and search operations had been carried out across the country. But in a stunning revelation by Mr Venumbaka Dinesh Reddy, Director General of Police, at Eluru on Monday, stated that as per reliable sources they are closing in on Bhanu who is suspected to be hiding out in West Godavari district.

He was speaking to media persons during his two-day visit to the district, Very soon we will give more details related to the case to the media, along with the accused. This message has been the point of discussion across the districts. Though earlier rumours were that Bhanu might be in the agency area of the district, but not much heat was given into the argument. But this comment by the DGP raised lots of doubts among the public and the men in uniform equally. The entire police infrastructure has responded to the comment and has geared up operations to outsmart the accused.

Infact the vehicle used by Bhanu was also found abandoned near Eluru and it belonged to an NRI of the town, who lived most of the time in the US. Later investigations revealed that the NRI was no way connected to the issue.

Mr Dinesh Reddy complimented District Superintendent of Police, Mr B V Ramana Kumar on the Praja Durbar organized by DSP. He further said he shall implement a similar program in other districts also. It may be recalled that Mr Kumar collects grievances from the public and tries to find solutions to most of the problems on the spot. The DGP also warned the Telangana protesters of serious action if they involved in violent activities. Later he visited his home town, for the first time after assuming office, Thallapudi in Muthukuru mandal in the district.
