United Andhra Pradesh former DGP Dinesh Reddy will join Bharatiya Janata Party today and likely in the presence of national president Amit Shah. Dinesh Reddy joined YSR Congress party before elections and contested from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat but failed to emerge as winner. After the elections, Dinesh Reddy has been maintaining distance from party and its activities.
However, Dinesh Reddy placement is in confusion. The ex-cop hails from Nellore district but got settled in Hyderabad. BJP might move him to Andhra, as Dinesh has no proper recognition in Telangana state but BJP might use his services in the Greater Hyderabad region. On the flipside, political analysts say that Dinesh Reddy is joining BJP just to escape from the disproportionate assets case.
Slowly YSR Congress party leaders in Telangana are vacating it and joining its rival party and still there has been no proper action to contain the migrants.
