Tollywood star Allu Arjun and his wife today visited the Indra Keeladri of Vijayawada and had the darshan of the Goddess Kanaka Durga appearing as Goddess Saraswathi Devi.
With the day turning out to be the auspicious star Moola, the birth star of the Goddess, thousands of devotees have poured into the temple and the roads leading to the temple are flooded with people.
As police struggled to control the crowds, temple EO and the local MLA Mr Srinivas went down the Indra Keeladri to pick up the hero who found it difficult to come up. The EO brought Allu Arjun, his wife and other family members to the temple in his official vehicle and ensured they had a VIP darshan of the Goddess.
Mr Rajendra Prasad, hero of the yesteryears, also visited the temple today and had the darshan of the Goddess.
