On the second day of the Sarannavarathri festivities, Goddess Kanakadurga on the Indrakeeladri of Vijayawada today assumed the Avatara of Panchamukha Gayatri.

Police made elaborate security arrangements as the number of devotees visiting the temple increased resulting in long queues.  Most of the devotees lined up since early morning for having a darshan of the Goddess.

Meanwhile, the entire Vijayawada is brimming with activity for the Dasara festival and trains and buses arriving in Vijayawada are bringing in more and more devotees from distant places of the state.
