Court adjourns hearing on CBI plea for Gali Custody

GaliCourt1CBI court at Nampally in Hyderabad today adjourned to Thursday hearing on the petition submitted by the CBI counsel seeking the custody of mining mafia don Mr. Gali Janardhan reddy.

Janardhan reddy is now in the Chanchalguda jail after being remanded to a two-week judicial custody following his arrest by the CBI in the illegal mining case.

When the CBI petition came up for hearing, counsel for Janardhan reddy objected to the request of the CBI on the ground that the remand report submitted by the investigating agency was incomplete and asked the court not to accept the plea.

The counsel for Gali Janardhan reddy also requested the court to direct the CBI to submit the proof that led to the arrests in the illegal mining case. CBI said it was ready to submit the proof to the court whenever the court wanted. The court then adjourned the hearing to tomorrow.

The CBI court has asked the investigating agency to file its counter affidavit on the bail plea of Gali Janardhan reddy before this evening.
