CBI Closes Cases On Gali Janardhan Reddy?:- Mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy has been arrested in the country’s biggest mining scam that took place in Karnataka. This became a national scandal and a CBI investigation has been ordered. After years in jail, Gali Janardhan Reddy has been released through bail and one of the main cases in this Rs 35000 crore scam has now been closed by CBI. After years of investigation, the CBI’s Anti-Corruption Branch wrote an official letter to the Chief Secretary of Karnataka that the case has been closed due to technical reasons.

JD(S) Leader Kumaraswamy exposed the case and later former Lokayukta Santosh Hegde conducted a detailed investigation on the issue. He revealed that his efforts have been wasted and he already submitted all the documented proofs of the illegal mining. This turned out to be a shock after CBI submitted that the case has been completely closed. However there are some other cases that have been under investigation.
