Resignations bring rift between Botsa, Kiran

Resignations bring rift between Botsa, Kiran Differences have reportedly cropped up between chief minister Kirankumar reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana on the issue of dealing with the resignations of the Jagan group MLAs.

Botsa is of the view that the resignations should be accepted and the party should go for by elections. Sources said Botsa wants to take up the campaign along with mega star Chiranjeevi in the by elections and plans to win them by highlighting the corrupt practices of YSR Congress party president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

However, CM has different views on the issue. He is of a firm opinion that the Jagan group MLAs should be brought back to the congress fold by hook or crook for having stability of his government. He is also of the view that Botsa has master plans in mind by seeking the acceptance of the resignations and preferring to go for by elections.

It is true that the victory of the congress candidates in the by elections will boost up the chances of the PCC chief as a future chief minister and Kirankumar is unable to digest this fact.

It is now clear that at the instance of Botsa only the government whip K. Murali met the Speaker to request him to accept the resignations or disqualify them. Sources said the chief minister had no hand in the development. And the notion of ‘let them fight to the core’ seems be the attitude of the MLAs who have resigned in support of Jagan.
