4 pro-Jagan MLAs to be disqualified

pro Jagan MLAs to be disqualified Before taking any decision on the resignations of the 29 MLAs loyal to YSR Congress Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Speaker Nadendla Manohar will first dispose of the petition filed by the congress leadership against four of its MLAs for anti-party activities.

The four MLAs are Konda Sureka, C Adinarayana Reddy, G Srikanth Reddy and A. Amaranth Reddy. While Surekha belongs to the Warangal district, the other three are from the Kadapa district.

The congress leadership has long back complained that the four MLAs have violated the party discipline and hobnobbed with the YSR congress party. The Speaker will decide their fate today or tomorrow. Once they are disqualified, it would be a big blow to the YSR Congress party for the simple reason that the strength of the Jagan group will come down by four MLAs.

After taking a decision on the four MLAs, the Speaker will next take up the complaints lodged by the TDP leadership against its rebel MLAs Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Bali Nagi Reddy. If these two are also disqualified, Jagan strength again will come down.

Later, the Speaker will take a decision on the resignations submitted by the four TDP rebel MLAs, Nagam Janaradan Reddy, K Hareeswara Reddy, Jogu Ramanna and Venugopala Chary.

Sources said the Speaker may this time also reject the resignations of the 11 TRS MLAs for the second time as they had faxed their letters and not submitted them in person at the Speaker’s office. The resignations were also not in the prescribed format.
In the last, the fate of the resignations of the other pro-Jagan MLAs will be decided by the Speaker. So they will have to wait for several days to know the Speaker’s decision on their quit letters.
