The T congress MLAs, MPs and MLCs, who have quit their legislative seats on July 4 en masse demanding an immediate decision on the formation of Telangana state, are meeting Saturday evening in Hyderabad for deciding their future course of action.
The MPs and other public representatives of the Telangana congress are likely to discuss their resignations and the developments that followed. The leaders will especially discuss the statement of the Union Minister and in-charge of congress affairs in AP Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad that he would shortly initiate the process of negotiations with the stake holders concerned with Telangana to find a solution to the nagging T issue.
Azad said last night in Delhi that he would begin immediate discussions on the Telangana issue with the concerned people. But, he denied some media reports that he would form a committee to complete the process of negotiations.
“No committee and nothing like that. I will hold the discussions myself,” he told media persons.
The T congress leaders will also formulate their own plan of action to put more pressure on the party to get Telangana state.
