The Satya Sai Central Trust today began the construction work of the permanent Maha Samadhi of the world famous Indian spiritual master Sri Satya Sai Baba who passed away on April 24.
Soon after the Baba breathed his last, the Trust constructed a make shift Samadhi of Baba in the Kulwant Hall of the Prashanthy Nilayam in Puttaparthy.
Trust Board member and nephew of the late spiritual master Mr Ratnakar launched the works in the presence of the minister J. Geetha Reddy. The Trust sources said the construction of the Maha Samadhi will take six weeks to complete.
“Till then the Darshan of the Samadhi will be stopped to devotees and pilgrims,” said an official of the Trust.
