Mega star Chiranjeevi, well known Tollywood hero Nagarjuna and several other prominent personalities had a providential escape this morning when the pilot of their British Airways flight had found one of the back tyres of the plane burst during take off at the Shamshabad airport and landed the flight safely.

The pilot of the Hyderabad -Delhi-London flight took off at 7.10 am but he soon realized that one of the plane’s back tyres was burst and decided the flight couldn’t go ahead and immediately landed the flight with the help of an emergency tyre after informing the control room.

Airport officials said later a major accident was averted by the pilot who had immediately recognized the lapse and downed the plane using his experience.

Chiru, Nagarjuna and several other VIPs are among those who took the flight to Delhi and some of the passengers cancelled their journey after the incident and returned home.
