TRS leaders Harish Rao and Nayani Narasimha reddy were this morning taken into custody by the police as they were
leading a motor bike rally in Secunderabad on the occasion of the 48-hour bandh
which began today.

Harish Rao and Narasimha reddy started the rally from the Monda Market in Secunderabad and proceeded towards
Padmarao nagar where police stopped them saying they had no permission for the
rally.

A fierce argument followed between police and the TRS leaders resulting in tension. When the police tried
to arrest Harish rao and others, TRS activists pushed them away. As a result,
both police and activists jostled against each other and Harish rao fell down
in the melee.

Police then arrested Harish Rao and Nayani Narasimha Reddy along with scores of activists and took them to
Bolaram police station.
