Telugu Desam Party senior leader Yerram Naidu today demanded the Center to order CBI investigation in to the role played by     KVP Ramachandra Rao, Rajya Sabha MP and close friend of late chief minister YSR into the Emaar properties scams.

“Apart from ordering an investigation into the role played by KVP, all construction work undertaken by Emaar and its financial transactions should be stopped pending investigations,” Naidu told a media conference Hyderabad.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and congress chief Sonia Gandhi have ordered investigation into the role played by former Telecom minister A. Raja but they are conveniently ignoring the role played by the corruption Rajas in several scams in the AP state, he alleged.

“We have lodged many a complaint against KVP and Jagan on their involvement in corruption but the Centre has not paid any attention to those complaints for the simple reason that the PM and the congress presidents had their share of the illegal wealth accrued from those scams,” Yerram Naidu said.

“Even the chief minister Kirankumar reddy has not thought of ordering investigation into the allegations due to the fear of losing his seat,” he alleged.
