Prime minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi have condoled the death of former parliamentarian and veteran national leader from TDP, Yerran Naidu. PM described him as a distinguished parliamentarian. He said that Yerran Naidu made valuable contribution to the country and Andhra Pradesh. He even said that his heart goes out in sympathy of the bereaved family.

It may be noted that Yerran Naidu's car (SUV) dashed a speeding oil tanker, which was ahead of it following which seven members injured in the accident were being shifted to RIMS hospital in Srikakulam.The mishap took place in the wee hours of Friday. Although Yerran Naidu was immediately rushed to hospital, doctors failed in their efforts to save his life.
