Cong looking for pretexts for ensuing debacle

Cong looking for pretexts for ensuing debacle The congress leadership in the state seems to have convinced itself  that both YS Vijayalakshmi and YS Jaganmohan reddy of the YSR congress will win the Pulivendula assembly seat and Kadapa Lok Sabha seat respectively in the by polls and is trying to find some lame excuses for the possible defeat of the congress candidates in both places.

Simultaneously, different camps in the state congress are also finding ways to blame each other for the writing on the wall which is likely to bring new headaches for the central leadership of the party.

While some ministers are trying to find fault with the chief minister Kirankumar reddy for going over board to attack Jagan resulting in a sympathy wave for him, the chief minister’s camp is trying to blame the PCC Chief D. Srinivas who has suggested the candidature of the Minister DL Ravindra Reddy to take on Jagan in Kadapa.

Kiran kumar advocated the candidature of Kandula Rajamohana Reddy strongly to take on Jagan in Kadapa but it was D. Srinivas who was successful in convincing party the high command that Ravindra reddy would be the best possible candidate against Jagan.

Again the chief minister’s camp feels that DS had not taken active role in the campaign on behalf of Ravindra Reddy.

However, some ministers are of the view that chief minster Kiran kumar was responsible for Jagan getting sympathy wave in the district by ensuring a multi pronged attack on him from different quarters.
