Care Hospital doctors said today the MIM MLA, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, undergoing treatment for bullet injuries and stabbing wounds after an attack by rivals in the old city few days ago, is progressing well clinically.
All the vitals of Akbaruddin Owaisi are stable and normal and he doesn’t require any organ support system, said the doctors in a bulletin. “We have also stopped dialysis and he is taking nutrition through the intravenous route.”
Though recovering fast, Owaisi is still in the surgical respiratory care unit and will take at least one week more to be discharged from the hospital, said hospital sources. The doctors may not declare him out of danger for another day or two.
Meanwhile, Central Crime Station sleuths have arrested one more person on Wednesday for the attack on Akbaruddin taking the number of arrested persons to eight. The seven other accused have been remanded to judicial custody and are lodged in the Charlapally jail.
