KTR Hits On Akbaruddin Owaisi For His Controversial Remarks:- TRS and AIMIM had a great bonding and relationship though they never inked an alliance in Telangana. With the arrival of GHMC polls, both the leaders from the parties are digging at each other and they are making controversial statements. BJP calls it a secret alliance and slammed the parties for their moves. Telangana Minister for Municipality and Urban Development, KTR took a dig on AIMIM MLA Akbarudddin Owaisi for his remarks against two great Telugu leaders PV Narasimha Rao and NT Rama Rao. Owaisi named them as encroachments on Hussain Sagar and demanded the Telangana government to remove them.

Akbaruddin said that Hussain Sagar was expanded across 4700 acres and 700 acres are nowhere now. He said that the land went missing because of the encroachments and he suggested the government to remove illegal structures on the tanks in the city. KTR took a dig and he slammed Akbaruddin naming PV Narasimha Rao and NTR the pride of Telugu people. KTR said "We condemn these remarks and any derogatory remakes on these two greatest Telugu leaders will not be tolerated and have no place for democracy," told KTR.
