Ambati Rambabu, YSR Congress party leader and right-hand man of its chief YS Jaganmohan reddy, today had a bitter experience when he had faced some hostile group of workers in Rajahmundry as a result of the differences in the party.
When Rambabu visited Rajahmundry town this morning to discuss some party issues with the East Godavari district unit leaders, several workers questioned the decisions of the leadership saying that party workers who remained loyal to Jagan from the very beginning are being neglected and marginalized and new comers into the party are being accorded prominence.
Unable to face the onslaught of party workers, Rambabu made a hasty retreat from the meeting avoiding a serious confrontation with the workers.
Earlier, Rambabu charged in a media conference that congress president Sonia Gandhi has been using Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arunkumar as a pawn to create troubles to Jagan. He also alleged that Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad also had a secret agreement with Eenadu group Chairman Ramoji Rao to undermine the influence of Jagan.
