In the wake of Telangana region’s Congress Party’s MLAs rising dissention in favour of Telangana State, the Chief Minister, N.Kiran Kumar Reddy today had a closed door meeting with the former sermonizing the Party MLAs terming it inappropriate on their part taking up such type of protests whilst being in the party.
However, the region’s MLAs were in no mood to hear to the suggestions of the CM, as they were reported to have made it clear to them that they would continue to raise protests pressing their demand for a separate state. In fact, Medchal MLA Kichannagari Reddy Laxma Reddy proposed to the CM that the capital issue of Hyderabad be discussed in the party forum.
It may be recalled that at yesterday’s public meeting held at Medchal, party activits circulated wallposters calling for being separated for the new state like brothers.
