Dharmana Prasada Rao's elder brother Dharmana Krishna Das an MLA from Narasannapeta has revealed that his brother is joining YSRCP. The grand event will take place in the month of December when YSR Congress party President Jagan is going to visit Srikakulam as Krishna Das said.

Dharmana Prasada Rao a senior Congress party leader, former Minister for Roads and Buildings who held ministries during the regimes of N.Janardhan Reddy, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Rao, YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Planning to join YSRCP means taking of 400 elected representative including ZPTC, MPTC and Village Sarpanchs. Along with the Dharmana brothers, DCC President Narthu Narendra yadav and Palasa MLA Juttu Jagannaikulu are also going to join YSRCP.

As Dharmana Krishna Das negotiated it with the YSRCP, YS Jagan is reported to have given his nod for it.

Along with the supporters of Dharmana Prasada Rao, the opposition also affects the YSRCP when he joins the party.  Dharmana Prasada Rao also has opposition in Sompeta and Kakarapalli as he was supporting the establishment of Thermal projects in the district.  Because of the opposition Dharmana has and also may be because of the CBI cases against him, some of the YSRCP leaders were pressurizing the party against accepting the entry of Dharmana.

But as Krishna Das says that they received acceptance from the party chief, the party might have taken the plus and minus points in to account to arrive at a decision to utilize the support of Dharmana.
