Marriage is not just a royal celebration to tell the world how rich you are, it's an auspicious day wherein wedding vows will be exchanged amidst a loud gathering. Promising in front of so many people that they would not leave each other’s hands, the couple will walk around the fire as an oath. But, what happens when wedding vows become like electoral vows-the outcome would be astonishing something like what a woman in Aurangabad did.
A woman in Aurangabad moved court for divorce from her husband and imagine what reason she cited for divorce? She said her husband didn’t change the status of Facebook from single to married. No one would have ever though that a social website page could create a rift between a couple. Actually where’s the rift here? It’s the mere misunderstanding of this woman who in turn is doing nothing better other than wasting the precious time of the court.
The court asked the couple to spend six months in counseling and then come back.
Just because he didn’t change his marital status, the woman said she doesn’t trust her husband. So, the point here is whether a woman can trust a person if he keeps on posting I love my wife on social networking websites on regular basis? God only should give answer to this question! (Phani)
