Incessant Rains in Telangana Bring Life to a Halt:- The heavy rains in Telangana lashed the state. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heavy warning for several districts in the state. All the government officials are kept on high alert. All the water bodies including the dams, reservoirs and rivers are full due to the heavy downpour. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is personally reviewing the situation of rains in the state. He conducted various review meetings and he asked the officials to stay in their respective districts. All the people in the low-lying regions are evacuated and rescue centers are arranged for them.

Hyderabad is kept on high alert because of the floods in the low lying regions. IMD predicts more and more rains in the next three days for the state. All the MLAs are asked to be completely focused on their constituencies. Heavy rains are expected for the districts of Suryapet, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Warangal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Jangaon districts. The other districts of Sangareddy, Medak and Siddipet too are expected to get heavy rains. Delhi and Gujarat too are lashed by heavy rains and they are expected to continue for three days. The normal life came to a halt in Telangana. All the schools in the state are shut for three days and the holidays are expected to be extended again considering the situation.
