The government statement from China on Thursday has revealed the horrifying flooding in western China. The flood seems to be the worst in 50 years for some areas, has destroyed seven people along with 48 missing, with more than half a million others forced to evacuate or otherwise affected.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs expressed saying that in the early part of arrival of China's rainy season has caused disastrous scenarios across not only the west, on the contrary also parts of the country's north, accompanying a total of 1.6 million people affected since Sunday and thousands of homes ruined.
In fact, an unknown number have been forced to death nationwide having casualties in the west included two people made certain to have died as well as 21 missing in a massive landslide outside the city of Dujiangyan in Sichuan province. There was another fact of prominence that mudslides along with flooding are prevalent in China's mountainous locations which known to kill hundreds of people every year. On the contrary in some areas the present floods are genuinely the worst in half a century.
