The website of the official Al-Ahram newspaper reported mentioned in statement on Thursday revealed that the Egyptian police has an authoritative direction to seize 300 leaders as well as members of Mohamed Mursi's Muslim Brotherhood subsequent to the army removal of the Islamist president from office on Wednesday.

Furthermore, a senior interior ministry official brought into prominence that arrest warrants have been issued for Muslim Brotherhood members, on the contrary provided no further details. In fact, earlier officials said that security forces had arrested on Wednesday two senior Brotherhood leaders close to Mr Mursi.

Officials mentioned that Saad al-Katatni, who heads the Freedom and Justice Party of the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood at the same time Rashad Bayoumi, the deputy head of the Islamist movement were kept from proceeding.
