Minister of State for Health Amy Khor brought into prominence that the nurses in the public sector can look forward to better work environments, as the Health Ministry (MOH) will lead uninterruptedly with it's efforts to guarantee bright career prospect as well as pathways. Speaking at an awards ceremony on Wednesday morning, she celebrated the fact that the role of nurses is developing gradually.

She expressed saying that nurses perform health assessments while they also actively support patients and anxiety, as well constantly look for innovative models of care. There are many who have looked out for obtaining higher education.

Furthermore, interesting fact prevails that nearly 77 nurses from hospitals, polyclinics at the same time long-term care sector were recognised at the MOH Nurses Merit Awards for excellent performance in the past three years.
