Professor Ravi Kumar, 61, former vice-dean for international programmes and graduate programmes at the University of Southern California's Marshall Business School, will take over as dean of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) recognized Nanyang Business School.
His appointment came after a comprehensive review of international candidates by a six-member search committee, led by Insead professor Gabriel Hawawini.
Preceding to this Prof Kumar also served as the dean of the College of Business at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. In a statement to the media, NTU supervised Freddy Boey expressed that Prof Kumar has a strong record of global and cross-cultural business leadership stretching across multiple continents.
