One woman who waited for ages in the US would be receiving her school diploma soon. This could be a normal achievement for anyone but this woman at the age of 106 has accomplished something on a different scale all together.

Reba Williams, the old lady, finished her schooling (high school) long before in Ohio but her diploma was not presented to her because she didn't want to read a final book her teacher assigned her since she didn't particularly like the book after reading it once. She denied reading the book again.

Earlier this month the school board,  Mount Vernon Board of Education approved issuing Williams' diploma. A retired English teacher from the school who read about her in the school found out that there was a lady who was denied a diploma though she was academically and otherwise capable.

Reba lives with her daughter at the state's only farm and park which is still functional, Malabar Farm State Park. It is astonishing to know that she still has a sharp acumen at 106.
