Saina Nehwal, the 22-year-old champion shuttler from Hyderabad had held the world No. 2 on Thursday. She expressed that it is an unbelievable feeling for her and that she is so happy to be No. 2 after a two-year gap. She added, that it is really difficult to stay at the top but she is happy with the way she had been performing. She is delighted at the latest rankings.

To speak more, she said that she wants to play well and that all that  she is looking for is an injury-free year. There is no better joy for her than playing badminton.

When the "Badminton World Federation" released the latest rankings on Thursday, it was perhaps an apt tribute to someone who redefined the levels of excellence.

It is indeed a proud moment for the hyderabadis and also the nation at large!
