With tension rising in Mumbai, the condition of Bal Thackeray has been the question of every citizen in the state and several millions across the nation. Mumbai has reached a stand still after the news that their beloved leader has been terminally ill. Several shops have been shut down, the streets appear to be eserted, thousands wait outside the gates of the fortress of the Thackeray family, Matoshree, Maharashtra government has issued a red alert, several policemen and other special forces have been deployed to keep the situation under control in case of any inadvertent news. But the question still remains. Confusion at time adds up to the facts making a vichyssoise that is hard to swallow.

Shiv Sena leaders and supporters of the man in saffron have been to Matoshree and spent time with the family members since yesterday night. They have talked to the media saying that his condition was better than yesterday night. Uddhav Thackeray, the executive president of Shiv Sena told that his ailing father is responding well to the treatments and hope has not died yet. He also urged the supporters to pray for his fathers help while maintaining peace and calm at the residence.

A few hours ago, Balasaheb Thackeray, 86 was announced to be off life support after he was showing positive signs of development with the treatments by the doctors who have been attending to him. "Yesterday definitely there was some problem. Balasaheb is stable and responding to treatment and off life support system. Yesterday there was the need for him to be on life support system but today it is not," the spokesperson for Shiv Sena and a MP of the Rajya Sabha Sanjay Raut said.

On the other side of the coin, doctors were unavailable for comment on his condition today. Yesterday they have left the city in great sorrow mentioning that Mr Thackeray was in a very critical condition. One doctor who refused to be named today said that he was on continuous oxygen support and his condition was not good yet.

Which news do we have to believe? Is the SS Supremo regaining good health or is his condition deteriorating but the news is being shielded from the people fearing chaos and mayhem in the city and many places of the nation?
 
There are several rumors making rounds on the internet that the Thackeray family is shielding the fact that Balasaheb Thackeray has passed away on Tuesday but there is no official comment on that.

 Digvijaya Singh, the Congress leader has also made a tweet offering condolences but later he retracted his statement saying his was misinformed. Was that the truth and he merely played a trick retracting his words?

Was this why who's who of  the nation have paid a visit to Matoshri? Was this the reason behind the President, Pranab Mukherjee's tour being canceled?
