Five Indians named in Forbes richest

Forbes has recently mentioned the names of 400 top billionaires in the world and the list included five Indian-Americans. Among them were the Silicon Valley venture capitalist Vinod Khosla and also the IT major Syntel's founder Bharat Desai. The richest according to the list was Bill Gates the Founder of Microsoft.

Bill Gates, 56, had over $66 billion in 2012, amassing $6 bn in the last year, making it to the top position 19 times in a row. Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s Buffett is second on the list with $46 billion which is $7 billion more than last year. Oracle Corp’s Larry Ellison with $41 billion stood in the third place after he had been the richest earner since 2011 with and incoming $8 billion.

Desai was at 239 with a total of $2 billion as of September 2012. Romesh Wadhwani is ranked 250 with a net worth$ 1.9 billion.
Google board member and shareholder Kavitark Ram Shriram occupies the 298th rank with $1.6 billion.
At 311 is the founder and CEO of the popular beverage, 5-hour ENERGY, with $1.5 billion is Manoj Bhargava.

Vinod Khosla ranked 328 with $1.4 billion net worth.
