Hizbul Mujhaideen Commander killed in gunfight with Rashtriya Rifles

Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir killed a senior Hizbul Mujhaideen commander on Tuesday. This incident took place in Ganderbal district of J & K according to the police.

Ghulam Nabi War who was popular by the name Naba Commander was the disctrict commander of the Hizbul Mujhaideen. He was killed in a gunfight with the 24 Rashtriya Rifles troops  and the state police in Haya Palpora Village in the same district. Haya Palpora is only 45 kms from Ganderbal.

Ghulam Nabi was a guerrilla commander who had been escaping the police forces since 6 years and was on the most wanted list of the security forces. He was a local who belonged to the Akhal Village in Ganderbal.
