Team Anna member and former cop, Kiran Bedi has allegedly taken on the prime minister Manmohan Singh over the alleged irregularities in coal block allegation. She took the help of epic Mahabharata to compare and contrast things. In her tweet on Sunday, Kiran Bedi said: "Did Dhritarashtra in Mahabharata not support Kauravas even after they attempted to disrobe Draupadi? Indian genes/culture?,"
This tweet came in as a response to PMO's letter to Anna Hazare Team. It may be noted that Anna Team demanded SIT probe on the allegations against Manmohan Singh and his 14 cabinet members.
Irked by the letter from PMO denying for setting up Special Investigation, Kiran Bedi made these remarks.
After receiving the letter from PMO, Anna Hazare team members have said that they would undertake indefinite hunger protest from July 25.
It may be noted that Kiran Bedi is one of the role models of young Indians who have been raising their voices against corruption.
