Main co-conspirator in the 2G Spectrum scam case Ms Kanimozhi broke down in the court today when the Special CBI judge Mr OP Saini rejected her bail application along with that of Kalaignar TV chief Mr Sharad Kumar and ordered their immediate arrest.

 

She first attended the court at 10.30 am accompanied by her husband G. Aravindan and some of the DMK MPs but the judge said he would deliver his order around 1.30 PM giving some relief to the devout daughter of Karunanidhi, former chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

 

She left the court only to come back to it at 1 pm. As the judge delivered his order rejecting her bail plea and directed the CBI to arrest her, a crestfallen Kanimozhi broke down cursing her fate and her association with the tainted former communications minister A. Raja.
