Indian-American Doctor Couple Killed In US Plane Crash:- In a tragic incident, two telugu doctors, were killed in a plane crash on Saturday in Ohio.

The Indiana-based Indian-American couple, Umamaheswara Rao Kalapatapu (63) and Sitha-Gita Kalapatapu (61) were the only two people on their Piper Archer PA 28 plane traveling from Logansport, Indiana to Parkersburg.

The duo hailed from Machilipatnam, in Andhra Pradesh. As the incident unfolds, Umamaheswara was the pilot and his wife Sitha-Gita was the only passenger in the flight. The mishap occurred at around 10:36 a.m. Eastern Time. The flight service lost contact with the plane. The report was reached as missing at 12:03 p.m. To confirm if the plane landed at the wrong airport, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office searched the local airports. In former AEP Ohio retention pond near Waterford, the OSHP Aviation and Civil Air Patrol units found the plane crashed unfortunately.

The cause for the crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.

People are pouring in condolences on the Facebook page of the doctor.
