Chartered Plane Crashes In Mumbai's Ghatkopar:- A chartered plane carrying four people crashed in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar (West) this afternoon. As per the update, the plane has been carrying four passengers. Initial reports said that VT-UPZ, KING AIR C90 plane crashed near Sarvoday Nagar while it attempted to land. A person died while others escaped with minor injuries. Five fire tenders rushed to the spot and disaster management teams are supervising the operation.

The aircraft belonged to UY Aviation and was in service since August, 1995. "The chartered plane which has crashed (in Mumbai's Ghatkopar) does not belong to UP govt. The state govt had sold it to Mumbai's UY Aviation. The deal was done after the plane had met with an accident in Allahabad" revealed Principal Secretary Information Avnish Awasthi.
