The actor is in plans to complete as many projects at the earliest before he turns busy in politics. His comeback film Vakeel Saab is a court drama and it delivers a strong social message for the society. Sriram Venu is the director and the film releases for Sankranthi 2021. Pawan Kalyan will take up Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake and then Krish's periodic drama after which he will start shooting for Harish Shankar's action entertainer. Pawan Kalyan is also holding talks with Surendar Reddy for a film that will start in 2022.

There are several rumors about Pawan Kalyan playing a cameo in several films but it never happened. He lent his voice for some Telugu movies. As per the latest news, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a crisp role in Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming movie which is a political drama. Deva Katta will direct this project and the shoot commences from November this year. Sai Dharam Tej and Deva Katta are said to have met Pawan Kalyan recently and the actor gave his nod. Balaji Cine Media will produce this prestigious film and this untitled political film releases next year.
