Sad news for Kamal Haasan's fans (like me) that the much expected film Viswaroopam's release might get postponed to next year. And January would be an ideal time say sources. How did this sudden change come into speculation. Actually Kamal Sir who pioneers to harness technology has been thirsty to give us the best. And in his endeavor for better he felt that Auro 3D will give his fans enhanced experience. This latest technology is supposed to  be the backbone for Viswaroopam and we are sure to get the best. The issue was speculated after Rajkamal  Films International (owned by the star) released an official communique.

The press release states that they are incorporating the revolutionary Auro 3D sound format into it. Apart from Tamil and Telugu the film will release in Hindi as 'Viswaroop' and he is said to be rather keen on the simultaneous release of both versions. It is said that only one film George Lucas' 'Red Tails', has made use of the Auro 3D technique so far and Kamal Haasan probably wants to be the first Indian director and producer to use the same here.

Winifred, my good friend has come out with this technology, which I feel would get positive response from theater-owners to be incorporated in their cinema halls. As far as release date is concerned, Rajkamal Films International would confirm it and dont believe any rumours, Kamal Haasan said.
