The South Indian Starlet Rakshita has now joined the Karnataka political party floated by B Sriramulu, BSR Congress. The actor who had a firm footing in South suddenly announced her decision to quit films and settle down in life. She then married ace Kannada Director Prem. Now she has announced her entry in to politics.
The star couple formerly joined the party say sources. Their decision to join a new political outfit, rather than an established party, has surprised many. Rakshita known for her fast and smart decisions said, 'I had been toying with the idea of entering politics for a while. Over the past two weeks, I gave it a serious thought and decided I’ll take the plunge.' Adding further, 'I met Sriramulu and liked his ideology behind forming this party. He wants to work directly from the grassroots level'.
Incidentally Rakshita, after a stagnation of four years is also trying to put on makeup again for a Kannada Reality show, Swayamvara. The shoot for the show shall commence this month and the actor is already nervous with the idea.
